The Hunt Wedding!

This past weekend I celebrated the marriage of my two college friends, Ed and Samantha Hunt :-) I had met and gotten to know Ed early in my college career as he was one of the football players and I was always great friends with that group of guys. I got to know Sam when he started dating her and we have remained close friends since :-)

The wedding took place at the Bower Hill Lutheran Church in South Hills. So many of my close friends were in the wedding while even more friends were guests - it was so nice to see some faces that I hadn't seen in a long time! I felt like I was in college again!!!

Sam looked very pretty in her pickup style wedding dress as she was escorted down the aisle by her brother.

Her bridesmaids wore a beautiful and unique shade of blue while the groomsmen and groom looked super dapper in their grey suits! I actually loved the grey suits, they really looked great! All of the flowers were yellow and included a bouquet of daisies for the bridesmaids and a calla lily pinned to each groomsman. Sam carried a bouquet of different types of yellow and white lilies (white day lilies, yellow calla lilies and yellow asiatic lilies) while Ed sported a white calla lily on his jacket.

I got video of the pair exchanging rings...check it out!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Ed Hunt!!

The reception followed the ceremony at the Bower Hill Fire Hall where the party got started and lasted all night long! One of the most vivid college memories I have is all the nights my friends and I would get into a circle and sing country music all night long...well there was a lot of that to be done at the Hunt wedding! It was just an all-around good time wedding!

Patrick better get worried...I keep getting closer and closer to catching the bouquet at every wedding I go to! LOL! I had my fingers on the flowers but someone else had the stems which always makes for an easier grab. The guys pulled the typical "no one catch the garter" trick but my good friend Hickey (who is engaged to my friend Nicole) picked it up and gave us an entertaining show.

Below are some pictures from the rest of the night...

After the reception, my friend Ashley talked me into staying with her at her hotel room where everyone else was staying. I had planned on just going home but decided to stay since I was having so much fun seeing old friends! We had a blast swapping old college stories and catching up on the time in between :-)

Sam and Ed, I wish you a full life of love and happiness! Thanks so much for inviting me to be a part of your special day :-)
